Candy Color Toxic Green Airbrush Base Coat
Candy color base are special clear paint in base coat.
How to use
1 Reduce with a mix ratio of 1:1 on weight with our solvent thinner.
2 Apply one or two dry coats and after 15 minutes from 2 to 4 wet coats. In alternative, if you are not really expert of this paint, apply many medium dry or medium wet coats until you like the color.
3 Finally apply our clear coat plus 2% of UV filter
4 After 12 hours dry time sand it and apply another time the clear coat.
Spray gun
Apply with spray gun from 0,8 to 1,4 maximum.
Pressure with spray gun is the same of every paint so it depend on you, but we suggest from a minimum of 1,5 bar. With airbrush better stay at 1,5 bar minimum to a maximum of 2 or 2,5 bar (2,5 bar is not really suggest but sometime is possible).
For airbrush use it can be applied with all airbrushes from 0,18 to 0,5. Just try different mix ratio up to 100% on weight with our slow thinner (suggest for custom paint)
How to have the best effect
Candies are usually applied over a pearlescent or metallized base to have a great shiny and deep color effect.
If you apply candies over a common color or red or yellow it help you to increase the color vibrance and intensity.
Sunlight protection
They must be protect with our clear coat plus our special UV extra sunlight filter.
Usually we mix our UV filter with a mix ratio on weight of 2 or 3% into all clear coat layers.
The best way to protect a candy is also put the UV filter into the paint to, so it protect the paint from inside and thanks to clear coat from outside to.
